Salted Caramel Latte

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

Skip the coffee shop lineup and treat yourself to this salted caramel latte. With all the sweet, salty and oh-so-creamy deliciousness, it’s hard to believe you’re sipping on 20 grams plant-based protein, as well as veggies and greens but believe me, it’s true.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Silk coconut milk
  • 1/2-1 scoop Vega® Essentials
  • 1 Tbsp caramel sauce (no caramel sauce, no problem. Use one frozen date and 1 tsp vanilla instead)
  • 1/2 cup coffee, hot or leftover (cold)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • Optional topping: coconut whipped cream

Preparation

  • Hot Drink Directions:

  • Combine milk and caramel and warm over medium heat.

  • Blend warm milk. Vega Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

  • Pour blended mixture over coffee.

  • Spoon froth from the blender on top.

  • Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle. Make it extra decadent with coconut whipped cream.

  • Iced Latte Directions:

  • Blend milk, caramel, Vega® Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

  • Fill a tall glass half with ice.

  • Pour coffee over ice and top with milk.

  • Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle.

  • Smoothie Directions:

  • Blend with 1 frozen banana.

  • Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle.
