Fresh and bright, this smoothie brings summer to mind (even though it’s the dead of winter). Lemon zest adds an extra kick of flavor, but be sure to just use the outer peel. The pith (the white, spongy layer between the peel and fruit) will make your smoothie bitter!

Ingredients
- 1 serving French Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- 1 cup non-dairy milk alternative
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of ½ a lemon
- ½ cup ice
Preparation

Place all ingredients into the blender in the order listed and secure lid.

Blend for 30 to 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
