Raspberry Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Happy Canada Day from Vega HQ! Start the day as a proud Canadian would with a delicious, nourishing and very patriotic breakfast that reminds us of the Canadian Flag.  We added Vega® Protein & Greens to help make this smoothie (and you) stronger.  Try layering this raspberry coconut smoothie in your cup to take it to go.  We also love turning it into a bowl and sitting down to enjoy it with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • White Layer Ingredients:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ⅛ cup coconut milk beverage
  • Shredded coconut, as needed
  • Red Layer Ingredients:
  • ½ cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup frozen cherries
  • ¼ cup coconut milk beverage
  • 1 serving Vanilla Vega® Protein & Greens
  • Topping Options:
  • 2 Tbsp gluten-free granola
  • 1-2 tsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tsp goji berries, soaked
  • 1 tsp shredded coconut
  • Fresh raspberries or cherries and banana slices

Preparation

  • Combine all white layer ingredients in a blender

  • Blend, scraping blender as required

  • Slowly add more liquid, if required

  • Set aside in a chilled glass bowl

  • Combine all red layer ingredients

  • Blend, scraping blender as required

  • Slowly add more liquid, if required

  • Layer red, white, red smoothie in a in chilled glass bowl

  • Add toppings of your choice

  • Enjoy!
