Blood Orange Smoothie

Blood Orange Smoothie

Blood oranges are gorgeous in color and the perfect pick-me-up taste (fresh, tart, and just slightly sweet) for the cold winter months. In addition to oranges, this smoothie is loaded with fresh citrus flavor thanks to the juice of 1 lemon and a fresh tart grapefruit. If the grapefruit is too much try using half or omit entirely. Pair it with a nutrient-packed scoop of Vega One and you’ll be ready to rock whatever the winter weather brings.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving French Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • 2 blood oranges, peeled
  • 1 small red grapefruit
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Preparation

  • Add ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
