Mango Tart Cherry Smoothie

Add tart cherries into your smoothies for more than just taste! Tart cherries are packed with anthocyanins, which are potent antioxidants responsible for fighting inflammation and oxidative damage to body cells, making them a great choice for post-workout hydration. Whether this is your post-workout smoothie or a bright mid-day snack, you’ll be fighting inflammation and staying hydrated.

Note: To make this smoothie extra tart add the juice of 1 lemon

Ingredients

  • 1 serving French Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • 1 cup chopped mango (or 1 whole mango, pit removed)
  • ½ cup frozen tart cherries
  • ½ cup 100% tart cherry juice
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • ½ cup ice

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients to blender.

  • Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
