Black Forest Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

The classic combination of chocolate and cherries, plus 25 grams of complete, multisource Vega Sport® Premium Protein make this black forest smoothie a delicious post-workout treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Chocolate Vega Sport® Premium Protein
  • 1 cup frozen tart cherries
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 2 Tbsp raisins (soaked for 5 minutes in warm water, then drained)
  • 1½ cups cashew milk
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 Tbsp cacao nibs

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients except cacao nibs to blender and blend until mixed

  • Stop blender, add cacao nibs and lightly incorporate so nibs get mixed throughout

  • Pour smoothie and top with additional nibs, raisins and cherries–if you’re feeling fancy

  • Enjoy!
