Our commitment to constant improvement means that even our top-selling product, with the longest history, Vega One® was due for some upgrades to make it better than ever. Since the beginning of Vega, way back in 2004, when what is now Vega One Organic was launched (then called “Complete Whole Food Meal Replacement”), we’ve been striving to make our top-selling product USDA Organic. This is something you have also been asking for since day 1, and we couldn’t be prouder of where we are today. While it took some time for us to get all of our suppliers in a row without compromising on ingredients, nutritionals, taste or texture, this time, we think we got it just right. Vega One: More than just an organic vegan protein powder

You’ll find far more than just plant-based protein powder in Vega One (though there are 20 grams of that). Every serving also has greens, vitamins, minerals, fiber, Omega-3 ALA, antioxidant vitamins A and C, and probiotics (2 billion CFUs bacillus coagulans to be exact). Break it down for me, what’s changed with Vega One?  

The biggest difference is that new Vega One Organic is USDA organic. This changed the entire formulation, so that we could be sure we had reliable sources for all of these organic ingredients. We basically deconstructed the entire product, and rebuilt it from scratch. You’ll still find the same nutrient groups, but there are nuances in the exact amount of nutrients. While making these ingredient and nutrient changes we wanted to make sure we made it tastes great. And if we do say, putting it all together, this formula is lightyears ahead of where we were last year.

Can Vega One Organic be used as a meal replacement?

This is the #1 question we get asked, and the answer hasn’t changed. Vega One is a food—so you can enjoy it anytime you would eat other foods you love—meals, snacks or anywhere in between. Can Vega One® Organic help me lose weight?

Vega One is a nutrient dense food, so you can use it any way that you would use a food. You can enjoy it on its own or as a part of your favorite smoothie. You can even cook with it, making pancakes or muffins (start with these Blueberry Buttermilk Protein Pancakes).  If you’re trying to lose weight, consult your health care practitioner to know what’s right for you.

Is it ok if I drink more than one serving of Vega One in a day?
