In addition to providing a generous 30 grams of plant-based protein, this fall smoothie has even more nutrition thanks to the whole food ingredients of flaxseed, chia seeds, Vega® Maca and cacao.
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 serving Salted Caramel Vega® Protein & Greens
- 1 frozen peeled banana
- 1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp Vega® Maca
- ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 4 ice cubes
- Cacao nibs (optional)
Combine all ingredients except for the ice in a blender and puree until almost smooth.
Add the ice and continue blending until completely crushed.
Pour into a class and sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
