Mocha Chocolate Chip Bites

Serves 12 15 minute prep time

Need a quick bite between your workout and next meal? These mocha chocolate chip bites take just 15 minutes to make, are perfectly portable, and taste deceptively decadent. Toss a couple in your gym bag for your next sweat session, and keep the rest in the fridge for up to 5 days (although I suspect you’ll find a way to make them disappear much faster than that!)


  • 1 serving Mocha Vega® Sport Protein
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1 ripe peeled banana, mashed
  • 3/4 cup chilled coffee
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips


  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until combined. The texture should be similar to that of oatmeal cookie dough.

  • Using your hands, roll a spoonful at a time into a ball, about 1 ½” in diameter.

  • Store leftover protein bites in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
