Cinnamon "Churro" Protein Shake

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

Sometimes your dessert just tastes better cold and blended. Enjoy my take on this classic Mexican dessert.


  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 serving any Vanilla Vega plant-based protein powder
  • or 1 serving Vanilla Vega Sport® Performance Protein
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup ice
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar for rim (optional)


  • Place all ingredients in blender (except for brown sugar) and blend until smooth.

  • Gently coat rim of smoothie glass with water, and roll rim in brown sugar. Pour smoothie into glass and enjoy.
