Quick and easy, these vegan protein bites are perfect anytime you need a snack; try them pre-workout or right around that 3pm hunger strike. These protein bites keep well in the fridge or freezer, so we recommend making them Sunday night to enjoy throughout the week.
Tip: Use this recipe as a base and experiment with adding your favorite dried fruit, chocolate chips, or shredded coconut. You could even swap out the almond butter for your favorite nut butter.
- 1 serving Vega® Essentials
- ½ cup almond butter
- ½ cup oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- ½ tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and roll into balls. If the mixture feels too dry, add a teaspoon of water and adjust until you reach a rollable dough-like consistency.
Store ball in an air tight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
