No this isn’t a fig-ment of your imagination! Whip up this delicious morning smoothie today. Don’t have fresh figs? No problem, just rehydrate dried figs found in the bulk section of your grocery store.
- 2-3 whole, fresh figs (or ½ cup frozen, or ¼ cup dried, soaked in warm water for 20 minutes)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ inch knob fresh ginger or ½ tsp dried ginger (or more to taste)
- 1 serving Natural or French Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- 1½ cup almond milk
- 1 cup ice
Combine all ingredients in blender, blend and enjoy!
