If you’re worried about having too much liquid sloshing around in your stomach pre-workout, these gummies are an alternative to mixing Vega Sport Sugar-Free Energizer or Vega Sport Pre-Workout Energizer in water. Try out these tasty refreshing gummies pre-workout for energy to burn.
- 1½ cups water
- ½ cup tart cherry juice
- 3 Tbsp agar agar flakes
- 2 servings Sugar-Free or Vega Sport® Pre-Workout Energizer
- Bring the water and tart cherry juice to a simmer.
- Add in agar agar flakes and Sugar-Free Energizer stir to completely dissolve.
- Simmer while continuously stirring for 2 minutes.
- Pour into a shallow baking dish so that the mixture is no more than 2 inches thick or pour into an ice cube tray.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes and keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
- Run a toothpick or knife around the edges of tray to loosen the gummies. If poured into a dish, cut in to bite-sized cubes.
- Keep refrigerated, until 20 minutes before your workout.
